Dr. Swatzyna is a licensed clinical social worker and Director of Neurotherapy at the Tarnow Center in Houston, Texas. He uses advanced brain mapping technology to help diagnosis and treat children and adults with ADHD, Asperger's Disorder, Tourette's, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), depression and anxiety disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), video gaming addiction and brain injury. These cases are often misdiagnosed and hard to resolve, and treating with medications alone can be frustrating.

Neurofeedback is technology's answer to psychotherapy. It is non-invasive, drug free and creates rapid, long lasting effects. Sensors are placed on the scalp to detect brainwave activity. Subjects then play a video game to literally improve brain functioning. Doing brain mapping first personalizes treatment and improves effectiveness even in difficult cases.

Dr. Swatzyna is a member of a team of leading brain scientists who analyze
electrophysiological data using EEG and qEEG brainmapping technology. This team has gained international recognition for their research and treatment of diagnostically challenging cases. As a primary investigator, Dr. Swatzyna has30 papers he presented nationally and internationally.
